Texture and Color
Decorative finishing is the arrangement of color in a sophisticated manner. Creating pleasing color combinations, illusions of depth and interesting textures requires artistic skill. The mediums and techniques are vast. Julie Ann creates surfaces with colored varnishes also known as glazes, venetian plaster, lustre stone, metallic paint, silver and gold leaf. Matching building materials such as wood, stone or marble can be achieved. The results are unique and desirable.

The common denominator to all quality painting is the preparation of the surface. The importance of repair work, restoration and starting with the appropriate surface cannot be overlooked.
